BLISTERS?! Oh no! What now?

Just as you were ready for a night out. Right when you wanted to apply some Mac lipstick you notice blisters. You are screaming in agony NOOOO!!! Do not worry, you are not alone in this. 80 % of us has already been encountered with some blisters. That means 80 % at least have had that "shit, my evening is doomed thought". How do you treat blisters, what should you absolutely avoid doing? You will find out in this time's blogpost! Save your lips and move on ;)

For the people who has been infected just once in their lives, it's okay only one time maybe there will not be next time. But for those who have already suffered from this for a few times or even countless of times. Sadly for you, this might be in your genes. And it is called the HSV 1, Herpes Simplex Virus (infection) type I and type II. You have HSV 2 but that is another thing which for your information I do not have. I will talk more about the so called blisters-around-your-lips-type, I.

HSV 1 are the blisters you get on your lips or around your mounth when you have been under extreme amount of stress or your immunesystem has a dip. Or even the combination of both and other factors.

In my experience I have never dealt right with this 'sickness'. Because I did not know why and because I have done very wrong things. Which I will talk about in a minute.

I have even had countless of infected blisters which caused to double the amount of blisters even filling half of my face with it. In that case only antibiotics help.

So, I just found out just for about 2 years how to treat them. Firstly do not absolutely not touch them or absolutely avoid scratching the blisters (open). Secondly apply Iso-Betadine Dermicum (it's a bottle or cream which disinfect wounds) or if you have a good anti-blister cream apply that on the affected area. Avoid contact with water because water causes the blisters to spread or grow. Eat fruits which are rich in vitamine C to give your immunity a boost. Drink with a straw so that the fluids do not go past the affected area. It's what I actually do because I do not want my blisters to have contact with water. Because I am very prone to getting infections. Keep a good hygiene in general. And I know it's very exhausting to keep telling yourself to not scratch or to be strict but you'll be thankful later.

I absolutely avoid physical contact like kissing on the cheek, lips, ... . Creams prescribed from doctors did not help out sadly, so only Iso-Betadine is life saver.

I will repeat again:

â—Š AVOID water around and on the affected area

â—Š AVOID physical contact with other people,

â—Š NO KISSING especially a baby or a child.

â—Š NO ORAL SEX which will cause the HVS TYPE II

â—Š NEVER scratch or touch your blisters

â—Š WASH your hands more often you never know if you have touched the area

â—Š APPLY Izobetadine (strong alcohol which also treats wounds) â—Š APPLY Izobetadine with a cotton swab

â—Š GO to the doctor's if it's spreading or if the blisters are infected and swollen, etc, ...

â—Š EAT fruits rich in vitamine C

â—Š TAKE vitamine C supplements

I hope this was clear. And if you think something is not right, go to the doctor's they will give some antibiotics. Which will help cure your blisters, infection. I am not recommending this one because I am sort of against antibiotics for not serious reasons but if your blisters are spreading all over your face or even body then just take the antibiotics!

I am not guaranteeing that the blisters will go away faster. Because it is not and every body reacts differently. Mine take for example 4 to 10 days until the blisters fully disappear. Normally they'll have crusts after the second or third day. So that's how you know that it will be alright. And do not scratch it away because the healing process will be slowed down.

Keep good hygiene and no physical contact with people or touching your blisters will hopefully save you from having much more trouble.

Maybe you cannot apply lipstick when you are going for an evening out, or you decide not to go at all. Remember that this is all temporary and if you treat yourself right, you will be able to look good for the next weekend's evening out!

Thank you again for following me and reading my articles.

Love you & take care xoxo
